Define, Build and Support Automotive Solutions / New offerings

The role holder will be responsible for defining big bet offerings and solutions in the Automotive Products and Services Domain.  S/he will be responsible for creating platforms for differentiated services, technical strategy, HW/SW choices, alliances and third party vendor and tools selection. S/he will require to build solutions that address technical requirements such as Functional safety, Autosar, OTA, cyber security. S/He will also guide on the development, V&V, Automation and deployment strategy, jointly with client or as required.

Technical Pre-sales

The incumbent will define product/systems strategy for ensuring growth for our existing and potential clients and support and provide guidance to multiple projects/accounts.

S/he will be responsible for proactively analyzing technology, industry and markets trends. S/he will be responsible for publishing white papers, POVs and creating case studies that will showcase technology excellence and can be leveraged in acquiring business. S/he will participate / represent the company in industry forums as contributor / participant

S/he will define / particapte in defining the innovation strategy / agenda for chosen domains / technology for the BU and create plans to deliver the same. S/he will collaborate with project / account teams to define and design innovative solutions, customer value adds etc.

S/he will define strategy for Asset creation and Automation based on the technology trends across industry; Monitor & oversee deployment of assets created within the organization to ensure optimal utilization of assets; Review the asset creation & Automation plan and track the progress on monthly basis; Conduct joint Technical reviews of some of the critical assets along with R&I Leadership team to assess alignment with original concept.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

  • Full time Engineering/ Master’s degree / MBA
  • 15 years + of experience in Automotive with prior experience product /systems in Infotainment/Telematics / Active safety / Body&Chassis electronics
  • At least 7 years in leadership role in Delivery / Solutions / Pre-sales
  • Experience in R&D / Creating and deployment solutions or services from scratch
  • Ability to create and deliver to a business case – desirable to have at least one such project with measurable outcome with significant revenue
  • Should be able to lead solution development across multiple services, functions as the primary owner / program manager for solution development for large deals; s/he should have excellent hold on pricing, deal structuring, commercials, contract terms, competitive positioning and financials.
  • Ability to build high performance team, mentor and coach. s/he should facilitate and support identification of appropriate goals, and provides guidance for realization of the same in a time bound manner.
  • Should quickly sense the synergy opportunities, and inspires everyone to sense the same and utilize it. S/he should show high degree of cultural sensitivity and adaptability while also promoting diversity.
  • Should be technology savvy, have an understanding of technology trends and next generation technology
