Job description:

 

Primary Skill. BMC ITSM Development 
Secondary Skill. BMC Remedy AR System 

Roles & Responsibilities 
The suitable candidate will be responsible for the following activities 
• Technical SME on Remedy ITSM and be a consultant on Remedy 
• Provide solutions to customers requirement and prepare technical design documents 
• Work with the design teams to get the design approved and work on Implementation 
• Represent business unit on technical front to different towers within organization 
• Demonstrate Remedy technical abilities and be instrumental on roadmap 
• Coach, train team members 
• Analysis of requirements, preparing implementation documents in line with ITIL processes and Client Demonstration. 
• Planning & Providing Estimations 
• Foundation data gathering, data analysis, implementation for the following modules of BMC Remedy ITSM suite – Incident, Problem, Change and asset Management 
• On-boarding new customers into ITSM suite based on the project time lines 
• Interaction and Coordination with all stakeholders teams involved in implementation and migration activities. 
• Configures the system as per client requirements 
• Adherence to Internal Quality Processes 
• Should be familiar with the customization of the Remedy ITSM package/module in the environment 
• Supports client's data management activities 
• Understand client functional requirements and interfaces with technical team to provide fixes/solutions to the client 
• Sound knowledge of ITIL possesses including IM/PM/CM/ SLM module 
• Liaise with third party support providers and internal Capgemini providers to ensure adequate support resources are available during the support

• Primary Skills 
o BMC ARS Remedy 7.x, 8.x 
o BMC ITSM suite, CMDB 
o ITIL Processes 
o Experience in Remedy development 
for ITSM suite 
o BMC Analytics skills are preferable 

 

• Desirable Skills 
o Remedy Integration 
o Authentication, SSO skills 
o Database structure understanding 
o Mid-Tier, Web Sphere, Apache, IIS 
o CA Monitoring tools 
o MS Office products 
o Knowledge of BMC ITSM, BMC ARS, Oracle, SQL, Interfaces 

 

• Personal Attributes 
o At least 5 to 7 years year’s commercial IT experience, Passion in IT Service Management 
o Proven experience of working with multi-cultural teams based on and off-shore. 
o Ideally the candidate will have worked on shore (North America or Europe) 
o Works independently with clients and colleagues 
o Excellent communication skills 
o Takes accountability for the service they are responsible for delivering 
o Flexible in working hours, located Capgemini or client sites as necessary.
