Context

The Capgemini Digital Customer Experience Top Line Initiative provides the Strategy and Go to Market of the Digital brand positioning for the Group, supporting the country based Digital Delivery Units,

The DCX TLI is focussed on:

  • Growing incremental sales and revenue, through the improved brand positioning and providing direct support to account teams to help them position DCX solutions with their clients and translate that into new Business
  • Improving contribution margin from sold deals, through the creation of focussed capabilities, delivery, methods and investment in IP and common services. This is led for the Global CTO for DCX

The country based Digital Delivery Units are supported by a common set of capabilities and services from our India Digital delivery Unit, which is our focus for the industrialisation of our capabilities. The capabilities are focussed into three area:

  • Customer Management, e.g. Salesforce.com, SAP, Oracle
  • Content Management, e.g. Drupal, Adobe, Oracle, IBM
  • Commerce management, which covers the on-line platforms, mobile commerce, in store integration and supply chain integration (order Orchestration) e.g. SAP Hybris, Oracle ATG, IBM WCS, IBM SOM

Content and Commerce Management capabilities merge around the implementation of new digital commerce solutions and services for our clients and all three areas come together as Digital Platforms. Our approach to the delivery of Digital Platforms utilises cloud services and combines new innovative services with trusted scalable services and established back end platforms, by leveraging our unique Immediate orchestration Framework.

As we work with our clients we need to be able to formulate and deliver end to end solutions, which integrated new digital capabilities with their existing investment in applications and technology. These solutions need to be delivered in an agile manner and be able to rapidly evolve so that they deliver flexible and adaptable business solutions. To be successful requires a creative approach to technology and how it can support business drivers, underpinned by a sound understanding and software and systems engineering.

 

 

 

 

Role description    Capgemini India Digital Solution Architect

                            

Purpose:                To enable the effective sales and delivery of our global Digital Customer Experience Commerce services, by providing solution leadership and end to end delivery capabilities from our India Digital Delivery Unit.

 

Objectives:  

  • Be seen as a leading authority in the design and delivery of Digital Commerce Services, both internally and externally
  • Build relationships with account teams across Capgemini and support new propositions or proposals for digital solutions for our clients
  • Lead the definition, development and operation of business technology solutions for our clients, working with local account and delivery teams and working with our offshore teams as required
  • Build re-usable tools, methods and practises, creating re-usable IP where practical, to ensure the effective delivery of these services. Work with the Global CTO, country Digital Delivery Units and their Heads of Commerce and Engineering to create consistent delivery methods globally.

Staff

  • Build a team of business solution architects who can support client engagements globally
  • Grow the platform delivery capability in line with demand working with the India Digital Delivery Unit team

Location

  • Base office would be India (Mumbai or Bangalore), but we would expect significant overseas travel and during delivery on-location of for extended periods
