We are looking for Financial Analyst for our team in Mumbai


Specification / Skills / Experience:


This position provides financial support to a cluster of Account Management Team identified at the start and will be responsible for annual budgeting, monthly forecasting, management reporting and Orderbook management. 

The position will work very closely with the account teams and assist in tracking and managing costs and CM for each of the accounts compared to the budget. 

The skills required include strong attention to detail, financial analysis background, general accounting experience, solid working knowledge in Excel and other Microsoft Office products, and good interpersonal communication skills. 

Position Responsibilities:

Budget – Overall responsibility for working with the pipeline and building a bottom up budget that is challenging as well as realistic in all areas.

Forecast – Manage monthly financial forecast process. Implement procedures to ensure forecast deliverables and variance analyses are met on a timely basis. Help prepare the M-review deck along with the team and maintain a tracker for action items to keep the account forecast on track.

Month end close/staturory process – Manage month end close process to meet all deadlines, manage vendor accruals, AP processing, Project set up and reporting, Intercompany invoicing, etc. with the required support from BPO teams.

Orderbook management and accurate tracking of pipeline and bookings.

Management Reporting – Analyze trends and variances and build ad hoc reports as required.

Client Relations – Serve as primary liaison with the Account teams, establishing and managing financial processes to meet budget deliverables.

Special Projects – Perform and manage special projects as assigned. 

Professional Qualifications:

• Experience in financial management and accounting environment 
• A financial designation such as CA is required
• Prior experience in the IT / Outsourcing business a plus
• Working knowledge of revenue recognition methodologies (IFRS, POC, T&M)
• Preferred experience with Oracle Financials 
• Excellent Microsoft Office skills (in particular Excel)
