Infrastructure Architect – 13 to 16 years

We are looking to hire Infrastructure Architect with 13 – 15 years of exp in Bangalore/Mumbai  location

Specification / Skills / Experience

Must have in depth experience in design, architecture and positioning /selling a business case on 1-3 enterprise data centre technologies across Transformation, Migration and optimisation phase to key stakeholders.

The successful candidates are skilled across and have worked in E-2-E IT Service delivery lifecycle from scoping and identifying technology obsolescence, Optimization and refresh related project opportunities.

A strong technical expertise in 1-3 enterprise data center technologies ranging from UNIX, Microsoft Server Win2003-2010, MS-Exchange, O365, MS-Azure, Hyper-V, Citrix, VDI solutions (Vmware, Xen), Virtualization, RedHat Linux, Tools (Enterprise IT automation tools including Discovery to EMS), IBM Mainframe, i-Series, Vmware Vcentre manager, VCAC, SDDC, Enterprise Storage (SAN, NAS, VSAN etc.), Archival/DR and Backup solutions etc.

Hands on experience in an operational, system admin environment would be preferred with an ability to work as a team player and contributor in high pressure environments.

 

Primary Skills (Must have)

? Enterprise Infrastructure architecture capability

? Excellent technical understanding covering areas such as : Mid Range, Storage, Backup and Archive, Virtualisation, Data Centre Transition, Data Centre consolidation,network,

? Citrix and VDI, Windows 7, Active Directory, Messaging and Collaboration, ipad2, Blackberry, Private/GIO Cloud , Public Cloud, Technical Cloud Solution and Innovation.

? Project co-ordination and management skills

? Large-scale systems transformation, design and implementation.

? Business, technical and product and service level innovation aptitude

? Positive attitude with analytical skills in troubleshooting, investigation and determining Root cause of recurring and intermittent technical problems.

? Not afraid to work in ambiguous situation and handle high pressure project, service delivery environments Person Profile

? Client-facing and an ability to interact with different stakeholders skills to effectively manage  his work.

? An ability to articulate technical solutions to technical and non-technical people.

? Think on your feet level thinking (Tactical) with strategic bent, and also able to lead all aspects of technical delivery.

? Very strong interpersonal and presentation skills

? Expertise in full project lifecycle and applies most appropriate methods to meet client needs.

? Able to work on own with limited assistance /direction from others, although not afraid to seek help/advice where required, delegating tasks effectively to ensure best use is made of own time.

? Focused on delivering high quality solutions to clients, both internal and external
