Job Overview:


The position requires working independently and closely within teams to determine and document business requirements, performs system analysis and design; perform/coordinate development, and testing for project work requests. It involves designing the architecture, development and support of components for a technology platform which facilitates content creation and distribution by Research Business Unit of our client.


Duties & Responsibilities:

Responsibilities include:

·         Participate in design, implementation, testing and documentation of creation of new components and enhancements to existing software

·         Produce Change Control, Quality Assurance and Trouble Resolution documentation as required

·         Support existing products


Skill, Experience & General information Required:

Basic Technical Requirements

·         Java , J2EE , Servlets (7 years plus)

·         Web, Services (5 years plus).

·         Database & SQL (Sybase preferable, 3 years plus)

·         Unix (3 years plus)

·         Tomcat, Webserver

·         Good verbal and written communication, problem solving, interpersonal, analytical and attention to detail skills

·         Excellent comprehension and listening skills

·         Ability to follow a project lifecycle and evaluate areas of risk in advance


Desirable Skills

·         HTML, Javascript, CSS

·         Hibernate

·         CMS, WCMS
