Manager Operations - Trade Finance

A Manager will also be responsible for developing an employee-oriented company culture that emphasizes quality, continuous improvement, and key employee retention with high performance driven teams. Manage overall operational responsibilities and activities of the department. Establish and maintain relevant controls and feedback systems to monitor the operation of the department.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES• S/he should be able to meet the quality, productivity targets & defined timelines to ensure Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and ensure there is no penalty due to miss in SLA’s.• S/he should ensure accuracy in the reports submitted and demonstrate a high level of commitment to service quality and teamwork within the unit/department.• Perform tasks and adhere to established policies, procedures, and compliance. Help resolves issues & roadblocks in execution and timely escalation to managers.• Constantly monitor & review performance metrics for achievement of project objective.• Should be able to establish and maintain relevant controls and feedback systems to monitor the operation of the departments.• Should act as a second point of contact and responsible for the day to day operations for their specific processes. Coordinate between the offsite and onsite team for all process updates and escalations.• Should be able to develop a strategy for the team members to reach their goal and manage the flow of day-to-day operations.• Manage attendance, roster management and ensure the SLA targets are met. Act as a Mentor - motivate and inspire team members.• Oversee communication to new hires on schedule process.• Establish a robust system to recognize and reward high performing employees.• Should take initiatives to enhance the quality score of the team.• Communication / ongoing consulting with Sr. Leadership on service level goals, actuals and variance to plan.• Should be able to deal with business and customer escalation effectively and pro-actively estimating issues and resolving them before they lead to escalation.• S/he will be responsible for client call setups, client management, handling client queries, suggesting process improvements.JOB REQUIREMENTS• Full time Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institute (Any Graduate (Non –Technical/Technical) with minimum 50% mark in Graduation, 12th and 10th Standard).• Should have 10+ years of experience in the Trade Finance Operations, with 6+ years in supervisory role and CDCS certification• Excellent grasping powers able to understand the various processes.• Team player with excellent verbal and written communication skill.• Should have strong Microsoft Office skills (excel in particular).• Willing to work in 24/7 environment and sign a service agreement as per company norms.• Ability to work in flexible work schedule, including holidays & weekends.• Should be open to travel for business requirements.• Should be open to re-allocate.• Should have experience of processing and checking back office transactions.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES• Help improve client satisfaction by adding value; assumes personal responsibility for providing solutions to the clients.• Should demonstrate ability to develop trust with his/ her peers and even upward in the client organization to build lasting partnership.• S/he handles large size group communications [including external] at all levels confidently.• Understands and utilizes technology to improve work processes.• Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing or dynamic situations.ADDITIONAL INFORMATION• Open for working in high pressure environment.• All prospective employees must pass a thorough background check prior to joining and reference checks prior to offer.
