About the Role (Key

This role will be
responsible for structuring and overseeing engagements that help client design their
move to the cloud (“Cloud Design”).  Move
to the cloud may entail:  (1) assessing
an client’s existing application portfolio and migrating appropriate apps to
IaaS or PaaS platform; or (2) refactoring, re-writing, or developing new apps
to become more cloud native utilizing microservices, containerization, Behavior
Driven Development, and APIs.   


It is also a
leadership role focused on building, developing and managing team of Cloud
Design Architects and Analysts who perform and conduct engagements pertaining
to design of move to the cloud.    This
role is responsible for continually enhancing approaches, methods, tools and IP
in Cloud Design engagements.



Must have Technical Requirements / Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience
    in building and/or leading a consulting practice and/or solutions team
    comprised of at least a dozen consultants
  • At least 2 years of experience
    in cloud strategy, cloud assessment, cloud migration, and/or cloud native
    development engagements, preferably in leadership capacity
  • Deep experience in leading strategy
    and transformation type engagements (IT, business, operational):  (a) understand and analyze a client’s
    strategic context, current capabilities and state, and key business and IT
    pain points and gaps;  (b) recommend
    strategies, future state, and capabilities;  and (c) develop business cases and
  • At least 3 years of experience
    in development of distributed, complex, modern applications using Agile
  • At least 6 years of experience
    as IT business/functional analyst, business or solution architect, and/or engagement/project
  • Demonstrated curiosity and
    ability to learn and apply new technologies especially in the cloud area
  • MBA and B.S/B.Tech degree,
    preferably with a computer type degree (MIS, Computer Science, IT)
  • Excellent communication –
    verbal, written, and presentation skills;  adept at communicating and managing
    stakeholders at all level
