The focus of your role:
You’ll work across a number of engagements/projects to:
• Sit across a number of projects either on one client account or many client accounts
• Provide coaching and supervision for the Project Managers
• Run the project monthly status reviews – Financials; Quality and Pipeline
• Support the link between the projects and Capgemini resources
• Verify the financial and commercial integrity of the projects
• Handle escalations made by the Project Manager or clients

What you’ll do
• Ensure delivery against contracts. Manage the change control process
• meet (or exceed) client expectations
• Identify and action opportunities for additional business
• Overall responsibility for project success and achieving engagement targets e.g. margin (as defined in the Internal View) and delivering to agreed timescales
• Management of the project through its lifecycle: Specifically the project baseline, Risks and Issues in Pre project start-up, start-up, execution and closedown
• Ensure the Project Manager produces, maintain and comply with the Program Governance Plan (PGP)
• Clear and concise status and project reporting, both internal and external, as defined in the PGP
• Accountability for the management of the monthly financial reporting process including preparation of the MR Engagement Report, attendance at the M Review, management of client invoicing and supplier payments
• Support and guide the Project Manager in the management and motivation of the project team members that are assigned to the work you are responsible for, including setting of objectives for direct reports and timely completion of their assignment reviews
• Support and guide the Project Manager in the communications to the project team of the contract including; the project baseline, project status and client feedback
• Achieve/maintain the Capgemini Engagement Management certification level appropriate to level of experience
• Specific financial responsibilities including management of budget, improve DVI, ensure financial reporting is accurate, over-runs dealt with as soon as identified, liaise with project accountant, raise/approve accurate invoices in a timely manner
