The focus of your role

SAP Senior Service Delivery Manager is responsible for achieving engagement KPIs. You’ll work across a number of engagements or a single large engagement. The Key focus areas would be to

  • Provide coaching and supervision to Service Delivery Managers
  • Provide strong high level SAP Technology expertise to the projects
  • Bring industrialization and innovation in the projects that you manage
  • Run the project  monthly status reviews – Financials; Quality and Project KPIs
  • Handle escalations made by the Project Manager or clients
  • Develop client intimacy
  • Help grow SAP ADM practice.

What you’ll do

  • Responsible for Delivery excellence of SAP Application Development and Maintenance projects rolling up to this role through a strong governance and review mechanism
  • Operational accountability of adhering to the SLA’s and YOY productivity with high quality deliverables leading to high Customer satisfaction
  • Continual Innovation and thought leadership aimed at reducing of cost of delivery – bring about high degrees of industrialization, delivery process standardization, automation using standard SAP and non SAP tools  and reuse across the SDLC lifecycle
  • Lead the offshore delivery team comprising Project Managers and Service Delivery Managers
  • Contribute to the establishment and promotion of a culture which promotes quality of work, service orientation and flexibility utilizing industry best practices
  • Accountable for project financials like revenue, head count, profitability, margins, bill rates, utilization etc
  • Accountable for managing the contact
  • Ensure that the engagement meets organizational and client requirements on Quality parameters; participate successfully in internal / external Audits and Appraisals
  • Identify account mining and "add-on" sales opportunities within the accounts
  • Facilitate team and client meetings effectively, set and manage client expectations and develop lasting relationships with client personnel.

What you’ll bring

  • Strong SAP experience. With proficiency in any one module
  • Experience in managing multiple SAP ADM Engagements with a team size of at least 50 team members
  • Flexible approach. Able to work independently with the client on site when required
  • Confidence and gravitas in front of clients, project team and 3rd parties
  • Leadership and motivational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong influencing skills and conflict resolution
  • Evidence of a background in, and ability to provide analytical problem solving approach, and structured thinking

  • Ability to manage client obligations
  • Ability to manage the project’s finances
  • Consistent accurate management of project scope via the Change Control process
