8.5 years - Hyderabad

Job Description:

 

·        
The
installation, maintenance and 3rd Line support of SAS 9.4 Client/Server
products. Setting and evolving BI SAS technical standards and reviewing
platform deliverables across the wider team.

·        
Providing
consultancy for all stakeholders with reference to design options and
infrastructure usage.

·        
Participate
in the full project life cycle working with required stakeholders on all
aspects of SAS infrastructure deliverables.

·        
Management
of system maintenance including patching and version control.

·        
Proactively
monitor IT systems looking for potential issues and initiating mitigating
actions as appropriate.

·        
Available
to work the shift pattern required for this role, i.e. on-call out of hours
support Skills Expert working knowledge of Infrastructure and Administration of
SAS 9.3/9.4 Linux administration and scripting skills

·        
Experience
working in relevant environment/s, i.e. SAS Platform & Solution
Administration Excellent written and oral communications Self-motivated and
self-starting, highly disciplined and able to work on own initiative.

·        
Able
to work both alone and as part of a team Past working experience in a relevant
role, i.e. SAS Administrator or an equivalent role

·        
Experience
of using relevant software packages, i.e. Strong knowledge of SAS suite
including 9.4, MID Tier, LASR Server Unix/Linux Administration/scripting.

·        
Experience
of using relevant software packages, i.e. Hadoop, SAS VA, SAS HPA, SAS MID Tier
is desirable but not essential
