Technical Architect - Azure / Cloud Computing / Enterprise Architecture

Apache, Cloud Computing, Enterprise Architecture, IIS, Linux, Service Oriented Architecture, Thought Leadership and Diss, UNIX, Visual Studio.NET, Windows Must Have Skills / Knowledge: Hands-on experience, expertise in implementing AWS services viz. EC2 services, Various storage options EBS, S3 etc., Secured networking implementation using VPC, RDS, IAM, Route53, Cloud watch, Cloud security measures, AWS SES. Knowledge of application deployments and must be up-to-date with new AWS product and service offerings. Creating Instances from AMI using AWS CLI and migrating instance between regions Good understanding of AWS services and cost benefit comparison. Migrating On-premise or cloud Database server and complete application stack / environments VPC setup with AWS Service and Third party products Establishing VPN, VPC subnets based connectivity within Cloud Infrastructure Storage, Backup and Disaster Recovery Planning, Infrastructure Capacity Planning Experience with at least one orchestration tool is must (Puppet or Chef a Must) Deployed and troubleshoot infrastructure using Automation tool Working Knowledge of sizing and costing of cloud infrastructure for business proposal Migration and deployment of On Premise to cloud infrastructure Hands on Experience with administration of various flavors of Unix/Linux as well as shell and python scripting. In depth knowledge of Linux Operating System platforms is expected. Experience in Apache Web Server, Tomcat, and LAMP stack at the operating level and well versed with monitoring and performance tuning of deployed applications. Experience in AWS Networking infrastructure, AWS instance monitoring, troubleshooting, deployment optimization, root cause analysis and preparing documentation Experience in building C#.Net/, Java, based solutions Hands-on experience of working / troubleshooting Databases like Oracle, MySQL is required Experience in infrastructure provisioning, application and patch management, monitoring and alerting, capacity monitoring and planning Should possess ability to prepare, review and present documentation of new automated processes and technologies. Desired Work with customer to understand their setup and create proposals for moving customer's setup to AWS Developing technical and security specifications for the targeted applications/workloads in AWS Develop a migration approach to move workloads from On-Premises to AWS or develop new cloud-ready application solutions Mentor team with developing deployment plan, deployment documentation Experience with other Public or Private cloud will added advantage Prior Experience with working on RFI and RFP responses will be added advantage A good knowledge of NoSQL DBs MongoDB, Cassandra will be an added advantage. Knowledge in one of the monitoring tools like Nagios, Ganglia, ICINGA etc. Candidate should have a keen eye and acumen for automation of repetitive manual operations.
