Technical Specialist - Serena Business Management

Desired Candidate Profile Gather requirements Develop estimates and project schedules/plans Translate functional requirements into technical requirements and design Design and code complex workflows, scripts and other functionality Document test plans, test cases, scenarios and scripts to ensure applications quality Prepare the test environment Perform various levels of testing (Unit, System Integration, Regression, etc.); debug Document and analyze testing results Collaborate with vested stakeholders in order to review test results and ensure solution meets expectations Provide application and user support and troubleshooting Provide production support Job Description
Provide formal training and coaching/mentoring support to IT and Business users Provide and monitor tool access On-board applications, databases and users Monitor and report on tool usage, issues, best practices, etc. Mandatory minimum of 2 years development experience with Serena tools, specifically Serena Business Manager (SBM), Serena Deployment Automation (SDA) and Serena Dimensions, including, but not limited to, developing complex workflows, forms and general enhancements Mandatory 3-4 years hands-on experience in VB Script, JavaScript and JQuery Mandatory 2-3 years working knowledge of the software development lifecycle (SDLC) including Project Planning, Estimating, Requirements Gathering, Design, Development and Test Knowledge of MS SQL, other DBMSs a plus Experience with BuildForge a plus Working knowledge of various code repositories including PVCS VM and GIT a plus Working knowledge of Mainframe ZMF a plus
