Full time Engineering/ Master’s degree from an accredited institute. 18+ years of experience in the relevant technical/ domain, with prior experience in managing delivery of a group of projects in the Infrastructure domainShould have prior experience of working in Global Delivery Model.Should have a basic understanding of IT services industry landscape and track broad trends in own function/ domain.Should be high in influencing ability and have excellent leadership skills.Should represent the best that organization has to offer in whatever s/he does.Should be able to understand the macro level happenings and trends, and can draw the inferences from it for its micro level impacts.Should institutionalize speedy decision making and empowerment as the norm and as the cherished value in the Organization.Should be able to translate opportunities and threats into strategic options for own domain and the organization as a whole; should translate options into pragmatic action plans and think through risk mitigation steps to come up with comprehensive strategy.Should always be sensitive to the needs/ aspirations of the people, and continuously works towards building organizational culture and capabilities toward fulfilling those needs/ aspirations.Should promote well-being, positivity, and optimism in the organization in a sustained manner, even while faced with adversities; s/he should works towards creating policies and system, wherein this can be achieved.Job descriptionDelivery Management / Operations ManagementThe role holder will be responsible for delivery excellence of the IMS Unit through continuous reviews and management. S/he will be responsible for enhancing Gross Margins of unit by developing strategic direction and working towards with the Unit Head in implementing these strategies. S/he will act as the final escalation channel for delivery related issues; s/he will continuously develop and implement strategies to minimize all such escalation. Sales/ Account GrowthThe role holder will be responsible for growth of revenue/ margin for the unit as per the business plan of the company. S/he will be responsible for understanding customer business needs, identifying business opportunities and presenting proposals to client senior management. S/he will also be responsible for defining strategy for preparing a winning proposal along with the unit head and providing guidance to the proposal creation team. The incumbent will be involved in contract negotiations and closing deals. S/he will play a key role in client meetings and interface.Client ManagementThe role holder will be responsible for forming, building and growing client relationships. S/he will use his/ her understanding of the client business and organization service offering knowledge to suggest appropriate/ alternate solutions to client. S/he will play a key role in review meetings with client senior management and will be held responsible for the Customer Satisfaction Index.People ManagementThe role holder will be responsible for creating synergy and leading the Business Unit towards common goals. S/he takes responsibility for continuous training and skill/ competency building for the Unit. S/he will create strategies for effective resource utilization across onsite and offshore including manpower allocation and release. S/he will drive employee retention; will address morale problems while working with Senior Managers /Delivery Leaders to drive performance management for identified projects. The role holder will develop business leaders through coaching and mentoring.Should be PMP Certified.Incumbent will be responsible for managing delivery of a group of
projectsS/he should be able to function and execute responsibilities without
any supervision, while providing leadership to the team.All prospective employees must pass a thorough background check prior
