Detailed Job Description:

  • Remote desktop support  (min 2 +  to 9 years ) with desktop +troubleshooting
  • ITIL knowledge
  • incident/problem/itsm//ticketing tool/service now/ remedy/ears/
  • very strong in english communication(oral+written)
  • Night shift involved(with extra shift allowance/on call allowance)
  • Level 2 Desktop
  • Troubleshoot level 2 Desktop issues such as Operating system issues, Printing issues, Drive mapping issues, etc
  • Resolution of Incident/problem/request logs within contracted SLA targets and working with Help Desk Analysts to ensure users are regularly updated S O No. Required Skills:
  • Active directory - Domain , AD groups ,AD computer and users accounts, Trusts ,Migration of AD User accounts
  • MS Office 97 ,2000 and 2003 - MS Visio, MS Access for database connectivity
  • MS Outlook 2003 - Delegation of mail box, Configure additional mailboxes ,Outlook Exchange connectivity, Archiving
  • VPN - ( Nortel ) Concepts and troubleshooting, client
  • Citrix client troubleshooting
  • Wireless adaptor - Configuration and troubleshooting
  • Basic knowledge of SMS / Radia * Database - Oracle client troubleshooting
  • SAP GUI - Configuration and troubleshooting SAP GUI
  • OS troubleshooting mainly IE related issues and performance issues
  • McAfee Endpoint Encryption Client End
  • Effective communication skills in both verbal and written English, must be able to understand various foreign accent, experienced in handling UK/US users only
  • Willingness to work in shifts

  • MCSE Certification in Windows 2000, 2003
  • Knowledge of Active Directory 2003.
  • An understanding of Remedy/EARS or any such tool
  • Ability to write SQL queries
  • Scripting Knowledge using Kix script, Vbscript,VB etc , Ability in writing Macros in VB SME
