Detailed Job Description:

Job Role:

  • Fix issues related to System/Software packages, also sound knowledge of computer hardware and peripheral devices.
  • very strong communication skills
  • Work in conjunction with the Release management/Test & Deploy/Local Support team
  • Effectively & efficiently manage workload via ITSM to achieve set SLAs
  • Completing daily/weekly tasks as required and preparing reports over it.
  • Fully document fixes to capture knowledge
  • Appropriate and timely escalation of incidents
  • Contribute in Knowledge management.
  • Support users on their issues/problem over call, chat and email.


Required Skill set:

  • Knowledge of supporting Operating Systems (Win/Mac), MS Office Tools and Outlook.
  • Experience of working with Remote Access tools
  • Relevant experience of working with Windows Server, Active Directory, Citrix and Terminal Services etc.
  • Knowledge of network configuration, network protocol understating, Wi-Fi troubleshooting etc.
  • Knowledge of service request management, approval process etc.
  • Knowledge of working with telephony systems, conferencing softwares, conferencing devices used etc.
  • Knowledge in computer hardware and peripheral devices hardware support.



  • 1.6yr-6 years of experience in IT infrastructure support.
  • very strong communication skills
  • Basic IT and technical knowledge. (desktop troubleshooting skills)
  • Should be a fast learner
  • Eagerness to resolve an issue of the user / customer.
  • Knowledge of ITIL processes
  • Team player with ability to work under pressure
  • Good Communication & Interpersonal Skills and client facing skills.
  • Flexible to work in Shifts (24 x 7)
  • Sound demonstrated knowledge of Service Desk procedures and process
  • Ability to prioritize workload to best meet customer requirements
