Job Responsibilities

  • Partner effectively with the business units to understand the dynamics of the business, their strategies and resultant HR requirements
  • Engage with the team at the ground level through Employee Interface Meet (EMI) \ Brown Bag discussions or 1x1 meeting to understand their HR concerns. Ensure that the BU heads are informed of the issues and have them addressed at the right levels as necessary
  • Managing LHP (Local High Performer) & KP (Key Performer) talent pool which is top 20% of overall talent pool for the business units
  • Work with the BUs on the annual talent review process  to rightly identify and select top 20% talent and high potential within the team and manage grooming and developing the talent  and retain them
  • Coach and guide new managers on handling employee issues, managing PIP cases
  • Communicate adequately as  necessary with the BUs and the entire team regularly
  • Collaborate effectively with COE’s and shared services to effectively address HR needs to the organization
  • While chronic HR issues surfacing in the business are managed by formulating new HR Policies as necessary, new HR solutions are created  along with  COE’s to address  unique HR requirements
  • Educate and communicate adequately on the policies and other HR frameworks as relevant with the BU Directors, leads (L-1) and L-2.
  • Carry out the regular activities as per the HR calendar defined for the year
  • Support the yearly planning and budgeting of the organization with adequate inputs and build the  HR budget
  • Work with BU heads to effectively implement the global Incentive framework for the levels \ grades. Work closely with the management to define measurable KPI’s to provide clarity to the employee on the  role expectations at all levels
  • Monitor and support the recruitment function (along with parities\fitment sheets) to ensure that hiring deadlines are met without compromising the quality of hiring
  •  Handled problem employee issues, “managed attrition” and workforce reduction schemes and addressed   apprehensions   among the rest of the employee sensitively
  • Redeployed several top talent HC who were under reduction \resizing plan to other BUs within short span of time and same recognized at regional level
