Manual Tester - 2 to 5 yrs

We are looking to hire Manual Tester along with 2 – 5 years of exp in Bangalore location.

 Specification / Skills / Experience

Competencies Required:
"• At least 2 years of testing experience in an insurance or financial services/financial software industry
• Experience in writing and executing detailed test plans
• Experience of working on mainframe is desirable
• ISTQB certification
• Knowledge of Agile techniques
• Ability to manipulate data using Microsoft Excel, including the use of macros
• Perform the detailed requirements analysis and clarify queries with BA
• Read through the Test strategy and Test plan to understand the project and the expected testing process
• Design test conditions/scenarios
• Upload Test conditions/requirements to Test Management Repositories
• Prepare test cases
• Establish requirements to test cases traceability in Test Management Repositories
• Identify test data needs
• Prepare test data
• Execute test cases
• Report and retest defects
• Update documents repository
• Work closely with the Test Lead and ensure assigned tasks are performed within the target. Any deviations are informed to the lead proactively when any roadblocks are predicted or encountered

Main Responsibilities:
"• Review of business requirements
• Design test cases based off business requirements
• Preparation of test data
• Execution of test cases
• Ensure system meets business requirements
• Bug detection, investigation, detailed documentation, tracking and retest
• Close interaction with development team to ensure timely resolution of bugs
• Estimation of work effort
• Identifies functional areas for test automation
• Utilise testing and automated test tools to meet test requirements.
• Reports test results and escalates to Test manager
• Complete testing of IT projects, including product development and pricing changes
• Deploy new releases
