Aruna Jayanthi is the CEO of Business Services of Capgemini Group, a new global unit created in January 2016, which provides BPO and Platform (integrated technology and operations) services based on Capgemini’s IP for various industry segments. This new strategic business unit includes over 25,000 employees.
Prior to this, Aruna was the Global Delivery Officer for Outsourcing services at Capgemini where she improved the quality, productivity and profitability of the outsourcing operations for Capgemini worldwide.
Aruna joined Capgemini in early 2000 and was part of the core team that initiated and setup the offshore capabilities.
She has over 25 years of experience in the IT services industry and has worked in key roles in multinational and Indian system integrator companies. Aruna has also been the Chairperson of the Board of Governors of the National Institute of Technology Calicut since 2014.
Andrew Watson is the Head of Procurement for BlueScope Australia and New Zealand, reporting to the CFO and based in Melbourne, Australia. He is the head of a centre-led function responsible for over AUD$4 Billion of procurement and contract management, and for supporting the strategic objectives of the business by managing supply cost, risk, sustainability and innovation. His team directly manages a diverse portfolio of procurement categories, including global procurement of chemicals, paint and coating metals, packaging, logistics, property, MRO, indirect categories, and business process outsourcing.
Andrew joined BlueScope in 1997 and has specialised in innovation in the procurement and supply chain functions through the implementation of processes, technologies and partnerships.
He has a track record of delivering results in process improvement and innovation, and is a strong believer in partnerships to deliver mutually beneficial and sustainable results.
